Vivek Gopalan is the Chief Product Officer at Indusface. With 18 years of experience designing and building technology products, he has a keen eye for solutions that solve real-life problems.
At Indusface, Vivek leads product direction across AppTrana and the Web Application Scanner, and drives the company's AI initiatives, bringing AI into how applications and APIs are discovered, tested, and protected. Support and Services team also report to him, so that what Indusface builds and how it serves customers come together as a single experience.
Before Indusface, Vivek was a Product Manager at Druva, where he was instrumental in creating the core endpoint data protection solution that went on to protect over a million endpoints across 1,500 enterprises. At Zighra, he worked on reducing online and offline payment fraud through mobile telephony, collective intelligence and implicit user authentication. In 2010, before his MBA, he co-founded Warmbluke and created ATLAS, a first-of-its-kind civil engineering estimator software built for both enterprise and SaaS users.
Vivek holds an MBA from Queen's University with a specialisation in New Ventures, and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Anna University. He is a recipient of the D.D. Monieson MBA Award. In his spare time, Vivek likes to go on hikes and read books.
